An article titled “UTI Mutual Fund top boss, employees highest paid in industry” appeared in the Times of India & Economic Times on 09th May 2017 & 10th May 2017 and was also circulated in social media, to project a wrong impression that all employees of UTI AMC were paid an average salary of around 20 lacs.

AIUAOA places on record that the news article contained wrong disclosure of numbers by the Head-HR of UTI AMC - Mr Kamlesh Dangi. The wrong disclosures that have appeared in the print media have been subsequently changed on the UTI MF website by the management which can be seen now on UTIMF website.

AIUAOA has already taken up with the management of UTI AMC pointing out the wrong facts and subsequent corrections made in the statutory disclosure on the UTI Website with its implications thereon. We hope the management will soon fix responsibility for wrong disclosures and wrong justification.

AIUAOA would also like to inform that median remuneration of all employees of Rs 12.68 lakhs does not reflect the right picture as select executives at the senior position in UTI AMC continue to get very high remuneration while the old serving officers continue to get far lower salaries.
